Best Online Trading company like (for beginners) like ScottTrade, Etrade, or Zecco?

First, I’m completely not interested in hiring a broker, I’d like to start trading online on my own with about $1000, especially since prices of stocks are very low right now. Second, does anyone (with experience, please) have any recommendations of which online company to use as a beginning like Zecco, ScottTrade, Trade King, or Etrade? Thanks!
