The FTSE closes at 16.30 GMT but trading continues until17.00 GMT What is the true closing price of Shares?

While trading in FTSE for the general public is closed at 16.30, it continues for another half-an-hour for the trading members.This will help in fixing the closing price.
Note: 10 minutes before the closing time of the Bourse, you can see either on buying or selling side a fixed share value and also the number of shares that can be traded. At that fixed value one can still trade ( but i believe u need to call up your broker..can’t be done online).This process is also called Off-Market Trading
The share value you see at 17.00 is the closing value.
