Henry Ian Cusick as Desmond Hume
Henry Ian Cusick was born in April of 1963 in Peru. He studied theatre for a bit at The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and was predominately a stage actor before landing a few spots in television. Lost is his first major recurring television role.
In Lost Henry Ian Cusick plays the part of Desmond Hume. Desmond was discovered on the island by the plane crash survivors at the beginning of Season Two, where he was living in the mysterious Swan workspace. Desmond was revealed to have flash visions of future events, and he has correctly predicted numerous events. Desmond's one-time lover Penelope Widmore is thought to be actively searching for him.
