Evangeline Lilly as Kate Austen
Evangeline Lilly was born in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Canada in August of 1979. She began acting to help her pay for tuition at the University of British Columbia, where she was studying international relations.
Lilly appeared as in a handful of small-time feature films and television episodes before being 'discovered' by the producers of Lost.
In Lost, Evangeline Lilly plays Oceanic 815 crash survivor Kate Austen. On the island, Kate has been romantically linked to both Jack Shepard and James 'Sawyer' Ford. Before the crash Kate was in custody of a US Marshal. She was wanted for the murder of her father and for her part in a bank robbery.
