Dominic Monaghan
Dominic Monaghan as Charlie Pace
Dominic Monaghan was born in Berlin, Germany in 1976. He moved to England when he was a teenager and was discovered as a theater actor in the late 1990's. He is best known for his role as a Hobbit in Peter Jackson's three-part Lord of the Rings epic.
In Lost Dominic Monaghan played the role of Charlie Pace. Before crashing on the island Charlie had been a rock star bassist in a band called Drive Shaft. After the Oceanic 815 crash Charlie formed a strong bond with fellower survivor Claire and acted as a father figure to Claire's newborn Aaron. Charlie gave his life during season three in an attempt to contact the outside world from a secret underwater communications station just off the coast of the island.
